Getting started with Filtration Monitor

The Filtration Monitor (FM) monitors your filtration system and sends data through the HUB to the Hastr app. Setup takes about 2 minutes.

Prerequisites

• A paired Hastr HUB (see Installation and first setup)
• The Hastr app installed on your phone

Step 1 — Power on the Filtration Monitor

Connect the power connector to a power outlet and plug it into the device.
The device powers on automatically and the LED indicator lights up.

Tip

Place the Filtration Monitor within range of your HUB before pairing. The closer it is, the more reliable the wireless connection will be.

Step 2 — Open the Dashboard in the app

Open the Hastr app. The Dashboard is shown automatically.

Your HUB is displayed as a tab at the top. Once the HUB detects the Filtration Monitor, a “New modules found” card appears under the HUB tab.

Note

If you have multiple HUBs, make sure you are on the tab of the HUB that is physically close to the Filtration Monitor.

Step 3 — Approve pairing

Tap Approve on the discovered module card.
The card switches to a “Pairing…” state — no further action is needed.

Once pairing completes, the Filtration Monitor appears on the Dashboard.

Step 4 — Configure the module

Tap the Filtration Monitor on the Dashboard to open its detail.
Select the function that matches your installation.

Tip

After selecting the function, the module becomes fully operational within approximately one minute.

Troubleshooting

If the “New modules found” card does not appear within 5 minutes:

1. Disconnect and reconnect power to the Filtration Monitor
2. Restart the HUB by disconnecting and reconnecting its power supply

Caution

If the issue persists after restarting both devices, repeat the full pairing process from Step 1.
